Camp Ghost Ranch returned for its third annual Summerfest, hosted by We're Ghosts Now, bringing together a lineup of local bands, food, and a laid-back outdoor atmosphere. This was my second time vending at the festival, making it even more special to be part of a growing tradition.
With performances from Dentist, Bone & Marrow, Neon Rayon, Rhonette Smith, Levy Okun, Emerson Woolf & Space, Blush, Julia Kirk, The Wishbones, and of course, We're Ghosts Now, the day was packed with incredible music and great energy. Festivalgoers enjoyed a BYOB setup and delicious food from Trixie's Chicken, while many stayed overnight to camp, making the experience even more immersive.
As night fell, the atmosphere became magical—a full moon overhead, the warmth of a fire, and an opportunity to take in the night sky. I brought my telescope, giving late-night guests a chance to see the moon up close, adding another layer to the experience.
Each event brings new experiences, and Camp Ghost Ranch remains an essential part of the journey. One key takeaway for next year—adding table lighting will make late-night vending even more effective, ensuring the setup stays functional and inviting long after sunset. With small adjustments like this, the experience will keep evolving while maintaining the festival’s unique charm.
