GSCF 2026 — Event Reflection
This past weekend was my first large convention of the year, and honestly, I’m proud I pulled it off. Conventions take a lot of work, and this one landed right as I started working with a Marketing Specialist, so my focus was split between preparing for the show and getting my studio systems ready for our strategy meetings. Even with all that going on, the event still came together. I handled the full setup and breakdown solo, which was exhausting. I definitely took longer th

Brooklyn Indie Comics Showcase
BICS Brooklyn had a great energy, and I spent the day walking the floor, talking with creators, and getting a real feel for the convention. I was not vending this time. I wanted to see if this is a show I would want to table at next year, and after being there, I am completely sure that I do. The event reminded me a lot of Small Press Expo. M.I.C.E.
MICE took place on December 8th and 9th, and even though I wasn’t a vendor this time, I really wanted to attend. Small Press Expo 2025
Small Press Expo took place on September 14th and 15th, and getting the chance to table here felt huge. When I found out I was accepted, I was ecstatic. SPX has always been the place I knew I needed to be. Two years ago, I discovered the event only days before it happened and drove from Asbury Park to Rockville just to see it for myself. I remember stepping inside and realizing instantly that this was the room I had been searching for, a room full of creators and storytellers

GSCF 2025
Garden State Comic Fest was my first major convention of 2025, a two‑day show in June that I was able to commute to from home. The last big event I did was Flower City Comic Con in Rochester back in September, and that one left me feeling pretty invisible. I promised myself that the next time I tabled at a large show, I’d come in stronger. So for GSCF, I brought more equipment than ever before and built the tallest setup I’ve ever had. I wanted people to see me this time. Eve
