Celebrating 15 Years of Rin’s Comet – The Year of Rin’s Comet Begins

Updated: Jun 14

Rin’s Comet started as an idea 15 years ago, and now it continues forward into a new chapter. To mark the anniversary, I created three glass paintings, each featuring one of the main characters from the series.

These pieces were made for the Over The Moon Art Studios Christmas Show, with a cut paper collage background framed in 5×7 glass frames. Using a limited color palette, each painting captures a distinct mood while maintaining a cohesive visual style.

Rin Silverton, representing Part I, is painted in blue, standing confidently in a pose reminiscent of the covers—establishing the foundation of the journey. Sarrah Shadow, depicted in purple, represents Part II, her stance reflecting the layered complexity and depth she brings to the story. Joe Stone, shown in brown, represents Part III, his grounded presence marking the final phase of the series.

These paintings will be available as a set for $150 ($50 each), offering a rare way to own a part of the series in a completely new medium.

As The Year of Rin’s Comet begins, I’m excited to explore new ways to expand its story, artwork, and legacy. Stay tuned for what’s next!
