Comixology Merger

In February 2022, Amazon merged Comixology into its Kindle ecosystem, causing major disruptions for independent publishers—including Mushroom World Comics.

This transition led to temporary unavailability of Mushroom World Comics' books for digital purchase. While previously bought comics remain in buyers' libraries, if deleted, they cannot be redownloaded.

Many creators faced challenges with account merging, missing purchases, and visibility issues, making it harder for readers to access their favorite titles. The shift also forced users to navigate Amazon’s Kindle interface, which wasn’t originally designed for comics, leading to frustration among fans and publishers alike.
