Since starting in the warehouse as a Foam Associate, I made it a goal to eventually move into the office. I worked hard, proved my dedication, and made sure my skills with Adobe programs were known. Managers often asked for my help during lunch breaks, whether it was editing videos or refining presentations.
During those same breaks, I spent time drawing comics, allowing myself to be seen as a creative thinker. I kept an eye on job postings, looking for something more relevant to my skills. Eventually, I found exactly what I was looking for.
I didn’t know what a Brand Specialist was at first, but the role sounded interesting. After reviewing the responsibilities, I realized it was something I was more than capable of handling. I had already been selling my comic books online, so I understood branding, marketing, and e-commerce firsthand.
Taking the leap, I transitioned into the Ecommerce Brand Specialist role, marking a major step forward in my career.
