Kim Obie's 33rd Birthday at Ghost Harbor Creative

Ghost Harbor Creative hosted a special event to celebrate Kim Obie's 33rd birthday, bringing together local artists, music, and vendors in an outdoor pop-up venue in Asbury Park. Doors opened at 4:30 PM, with a $10 entrance fee, and attendees were asked to bring proof of vaccination or wear a mask, with disposable masks provided for those who needed them.

This event marked a milestone for me as well—the first time selling physical copies of my comics locally! Setting up at Ghost Harbor Creative alongside other creatives, I had the opportunity to share Indie Comic Books and Indie Comic Merch in a welcoming DIY space that supported independent artists.

Between the festive atmosphere, the strong community support, and the excitement of selling comics in person, this event was a memorable step in my journey as a creator.
