Sober Social's Secret Garden Dance Party

On May 31st, I had the chance to set up at the Sober Socials Secret Garden Dance Party at Asbury’s Trinity Church—a new venue for me and an unforgettable experience. With rain falling steadily outside, the event felt like a welcomed escape, pulling everyone into a space filled with music, energy, and creativity.

This time, I introduced something fresh to the table, individual panel prints from Rin’s Comet Part I and Part II. Every piece was an individual panel, available in a variety of sizes, including full-size pages. Each print was laminated and presented at a 1:1 ratio, preserving the exact scale of the comic’s original artwork, giving fans a unique way to experience Rin’s Comet beyond the book itself.

The night was fueled by vibrant music, featuring DJ Matt Beatz, whose high-energy set kept the dance floor moving. With seamless transitions from house to hip hop, top 40 to drum & bass, they brought an infectious atmosphere that perfectly complemented the night’s creative and communal spirit.

Being part of events like this is always a reminder of the power of local gatherings, not just for selling art, but for connecting with people who appreciate creativity and independent storytelling.

Looking forward to the next one, and to seeing how these panel prints resonate with the Rin’s Comet audience!
