Delivering with Uber Eats

I applied to be an Uber Eats Delivery driver, and when I got approved, I felt a rare moment of excitement, I hadn’t received positive news in a long time.

At the time, I was living off the savings from my time at Integra, while focusing most of my energy on writing A Night To Remember, freelance work, and photography. Uber’s flexibility was what made it appealing, I could choose my own hours, and since I was already making long drives to Asbury Park, it made sense to turn those trips into something productive.

For a short while, I even took pride in being a delivery driver, embracing the role as a way to keep moving forward while staying connected to my creative pursuits.
