First Retail Store

Updated: 1 day ago

Unwind Records and Comics started carrying my books today, and it feels surreal to see them on the shelves of a real store for the first time. The shop just opened on the Asbury Park boardwalk, and it already has the kind of creative energy that makes you want to linger. I brought in three titles: Rin’s Comet Parts I and II, and Lab Partners, the prelude to A Night To Remember. Knowing that people can walk in off the boardwalk and discover my work on their own is a small but meaningful milestone.

To help bring some attention to the display, I made a few posters for the store to hang up around the space. Seeing my artwork printed large and placed on the walls was its own kind of thrill. It is a simple moment, but it marks the first time my comics have been sold anywhere outside of conventions, and that feels like an important step forward.
