What A Wonderful Year 2023 – A New Perspective

This year I was a cameraman at What A Wonderful Year 2023, and it was an experience like no other. Standing on a podium, I had the perfect view of the crowd, the stage, and the energy that filled The Wonder Bar. But I wasn’t just filming—I was part of the action, triangle in hand, fully immersed in the moment.

Capturing live music is always a challenge. The lighting constantly shifts, performers move unpredictably, and the best moments disappear in an instant. But that’s what makes it exciting. One of the highlights was getting a shoutout from Bobby Mahoney, a moment that made the night even more unforgettable.

Beyond the performances, this festival had a bigger purpose. It raised money for youth music education, ensuring that future generations can keep the Asbury Park music scene alive.
