A Night To Remember – A New Comic Project Begins

Updated: Jun 14

The world feels quieter than ever. Streets that once buzzed with energy now sit in eerie stillness. In the midst of COVID shutdowns, as routines were disrupted and time stretched in unfamiliar ways, creativity found a way to fight back.

That’s how A Night To Remember was born.

The last fun thing I did before the shutdowns was attend a concert at Starland Ballroom. Live music has always been something that brought me extreme joy, a space where energy and emotion blended seamlessly. But as concerts disappeared and crowds thinned, I found myself missing those moments more than ever.

So, I started drawing the things I missed. First live music, then the friendships and freedom that once felt so effortless. I wanted to create a comic set in a pre-COVID world, where people were worry-free, friendship ran wild, and music filled the air. A Night To Remember captures that feeling—a love letter to the nights that shaped us and the connections that endure, even when everything else feels uncertain.

Right now, the project is just getting started. Ideas are coming together, sketches are in motion, and the story is beginning to take shape. There’s still plenty of work ahead, but one thing is certain—this will be a project worth watching.

Stay tuned for more updates as A Night To Remember continues to unfold.
