A Night To Remember – Chapter 7 Storyboards Complete

The concert has officially begun! Chapter 7 kicks off with the opening act, Blue Monday, introducing a new lineup of characters inspired by real people. Lili Graves, based on Beach Bunny’s Lili Trifilio and my friend Jessica Lee, leads the band alongside Molly Morgans, Dan Maniels, and Sydney Coleman—each drawing inspiration from close friends.

To help visualize the energy of the performance, I used Beach Bunny’s 6 Weeks and Cloud 9 as placeholders in the storyboards, ensuring the rhythm and pacing flowed naturally. These songs won’t be in the final version, but they’ve been key in shaping the scene’s movement.

Capturing the band’s dynamics meant referencing photos I took of local Asbury Park musicians, making sure every pose and instrument felt authentic. The chapter closes with the characters splitting up, leading to a moment of alone time between Cass and Gavin.
