Chapter 9 shifts away from the concert’s energy, slowing down for an intimate and emotional moment between Cass and Gavin. Without music filling the scene, their emotions take center stage as they finally confess their feelings to each other. This moment also gives insight into Gavin’s past, adding depth to his character and strengthening the bond between them.

The chemistry here is key, something that should feel natural and genuine, reminiscent of Star-Lord and Gamora’s dynamic in Guardians of the Galaxy. The goal is to make their connection feel lived-in, something real and deeply felt.

As the chapter closes, the two make their way back inside, preparing for the night’s main act and setting up the next big shift in the story.
