Chapter 12 – One Last Stop at the Slider Palace

After the energy and spectacle of the night, the story slows down for a quieter moment, a laid-back hangout where everything starts to settles.

The group stops at Slider Palace (a nod to White Castle), marking the first time the characters step outside in over 100 pages. To get the setting right, I grabbed fresh reference photos of White Castle’s exterior, helping bring this location to life.

This is also the final time we see all four characters together, sharing conversation before the night truly ends. Among those moments, Cass and Char reaffirm their friendship, a reminder of the strong bond they’ve built.

With this chapter drawn, the final steps of the journey are in sight. Only one more chapter remains before A Night To Remember reaches its conclusion.
