I Declare! Live Comic Reading at Wild Air Beerworks

Returning to Wild Air Beerworks, this reading of Chapter 8 marked a huge personal milestone—I sang in front of people for the first time. Joined once again by Fern, we rehearsed two songs by I The Mighty, and when the moment arrived, I stepped up and performed Pet Names and Playing Catch with 22 live.

The fictional band I Declare! takes center stage in this chapter, so I wanted the performance to feel fully immersive. Since Pet Names starts with the characters jumping, I kicked off the song by jumping as well, adding to the energy and waking up the audience. We built a small skit around it, seamlessly blending the storytelling with the music, making sure the crowd was locked into the moment.

This was more than just another reading—it was about pushing creative boundaries, weaving music, live performance, and comics together in a way that made A Night To Remember feel truly alive.
