Lab Partners – An "A Night To Remember" Prelude

I’m excited to share that I’m actively working on Lab Partners, the prelude comic to A Night To Remember! This project dives into the first meeting between Cassandra and Charlotte, unfolding under fluorescent lights and the quiet hum of a college lab.

Lab Partners follows the story of their first meeting, when an unexpected friendship forms during a chemistry assignment. From awkward introductions to instant connection, this prelude sets the stage for everything to come.

To kick off the project, the entire set of storyboards—12 pages—was drawn in just two days, laying out the flow and composition before moving into full artwork. One key focus in this book was ensuring the characters frequently changed outfits to reinforce the passage of time, making their interactions feel even more natural and grounded.

With the foundation in place, this story is already taking shape and bringing new layers to A Night To Remember.
