Lab Partners Book Signing and Live Comic Reading - Now in Color!

Updated: Jun 13, 2025

I took part in the Three Ring Circus Open Mic: Pajama Party Edition at Wild Air Beerworks, an event brought to life by Muse n' Monsters and Telegraph Hill Records.

This night wasn’t just about music and poetry—it was about embracing all forms of art, including a live comic reading of A Night To Remember. The event was also a WAVY Ticket Pick-Up Event, adding an extra layer of excitement to the lineup.

This prelude had been a foundational piece of the larger story, and finally getting to present it in full felt like a moment worth marking. The reading wasn’t just about showcasing the work—it was about appreciating how far the project had come, how the themes in Lab Partners shaped the narrative of A Night To Remember, and how it all led to this milestone.

Even more exciting, this was the first time I shared my comics in color, revealing a whole new dimension to the artwork. The rich hues, textured shading, and vibrant linework transformed the way the audience experienced the story, making this open mic feel more like a celebration than a performance.

Taking the stage, I brought the audience into this earlier chapter of the story, giving them a new perspective on the characters and their world. With the open mic running from 6 PM to 10 PM, the cozy, creative atmosphere welcomed artists ready to express themselves in new ways.

Between the pajama-party theme, the festival energy, and the mix of artistic expression, this event captured the essence of Asbury Park’s ever-evolving creative scene.
